Israeli Warplane Activity

On January 2nd 2007, in the morning, several Israeli air force jets violated our airspace... this follows an emphatic declaration by the French government that these violations were over.

These pictures were taken in the northern most part of the Lebanon mountain range. The Lebanese army helicopter was spotted 12 minutes before the Israeli warplanes appeared.

Hezbollah rules Lebanon, your government cannot stop them from getting weapons from Syria and Iran, they cannot get our soldiers back. Why should Israel trust you? NO REASON! You do not deserve or have the right to question jets over your airspace, control your terrorists and become a real country if you want the world to treat you like one!

rightouse, give me a break. everybody is a terrorist except for the israeli government. let us get something straight here, hezbollah is a direct result of the invasion of lebanon by the israelis....so thank your govt. and it is the israelis that cannot be trusted, and it is the israeli cowards that planted thousands of cluster bombs just prior to the end of the war...way to go....
perhaps you can tell me how the israelis can be trusted when you kill, maim, invade and of course this is not including of the unconditional support by the u.s. and the israelis get busted spying on them and then selling info.....(jonathan pollard).

  8. Anonymous, it isn't matter if israel is right or wrong, it is matter that hezbolla start, from your country, war on the state that called israel, hezbolla sit in your parlament and you do nothing about it...mybe israel are crowds and murders, but you, the cevilians suffer the most...you can blame israel but it will not help you, because 90% of the israelis, the left and the right supported in this war...israel will not sit and wait until you stop hezbolla..this will not happen...
if you don't want to suffer again next summer you need to stop them to do it again...or mybe the "victory" of hezbolla make you love them...so this is your problem...

and for the flights, what did you expect that israel will sit in quit while the hezbolla prepare to the next war???

  9. Israel is called a state and a nation... like many other nations it was founded with much blood shed and martyrs... unlike other nations, the blood of those martyrs were Palestinians and not the Zionist founders of the Jewish state of Israel (and of course, there's the entire theft of the country).

"hezbollah is a direct result of the invasion of lebanon by the israelis...."___Which in turn was the direct result of the PLO buildup in Lebanon, as part of a plan to conquer Israel.

  14. I am sorry to see that Israeli airplanes still violate Lebanese airspace. This said, the only answer our soldiers can put is shoot them off the air, which would probably create more trouble than there is already now. I don't think the UNIFIL needs this and I believe Lebanon needs more calm and reasonable discussions than shootings, right now. Fair enough too, Israeli wouldn't violate Lebanese airspace if Hezbollah would behave like a normal political party and stop killing Ministers it doesn't like, abduct Israeli soldiers, fire rockets towards Israeli towns and smuggle weapons illegally into Lebanon. In brief, stop being a regional nuisance and rather begin, who knows, to be part of the solution.

  15. alphast, its not black and white like you say it is... or at least not as straightforward.

Don Cox, actually the PLO also had sights on taking over Lebanon... although 'conquering Israel' is an interesting phrase given that Israel 'conqured Palestine'. And that ain't 'BS' ya sheikh bul abed el inglizi ;)

  16. Hi Abu Jaafar,

I hope you will forgive my ranting, but for us French, when we hear Hezbollah we still hear the echo of the bomb which killed so many of our soldiers. The ones who were there to help... So ok, I know Hezbollah today is not exactly what it was during the eighties. I also know that it wants to become more of a political party and less of a violent group. That's fine with me. But it is sometimes difficult to forget facts.

  17. Hi Alphast, your not ranting... firstly I dont know if it was Hizbullah who did that suicide operation against the French troops in Lebanon. I'm not sure if Hizbulla even existed back then. As for whether they are being more violent, I would ask you violent against who?
