An interesting article from The Economist on American-Israeli relations:

  2. The notion is absurd.

America is less pro Israel than it is anti Arab.

    Why?

Because 'ITBACH AL YAHUD! repeated over and over, repeated in media and preached from the pulpit. Most westyerners, even Europeans, do not find that acceptable political or religious ideology.

You see, when the Arab world keeps promising to 'finish what Hitler started,' it is clear who takes the moral high ground- and when that is reonfoced with deliberate deceit, well, the distinctions become even clearer.

  3. Mr Zionist, the Arab world has nothing to do with Hitler, you have a problem with Europe go back to Europe and solve. We only need to go back to our lands and homes in Palestine that European settlers took by terror under British occupation

  4. Dear Sigmund, Carl, and Alfred

I understand what you're saying, and trust me, most arabs balk when statements or chants to that effect are uttered.

The truth of the matter is that those statements are uttered by extremist elements in Arab society. They are equivalent to statements uttered by extremist elements in Israeli society who promote the ethnic cleansing or forced removal of Palestinians from their lands.

Today, perhaps the most notorious promoter and preacher of such statements is the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. But he too, along with the entire regime in Iran, who are there against the popular will of their people, is an extremist. The difference between Ahmadinejad (who is not an Arab, for the record) and his Israeli extremist counterparts is the media coverage they receive. Be sure that at one time or another leaders in Israel, ranging from Benjamin Netanyahu to Ariel Sharon, have called for the extermination of the Palestinian people.

Be sure, if you look for barbarism you will find it in every culture. I will end by highlighting two actions, not statements, in western societies:

It was only 60 years ago that more than 60 million people died in the span of 5 years - Europe, WWII.

In an effort to extend their control over the American continent, American Unionist soldiers killed 16 million native americans.

    Actions...not just words.
