Interview with Emile Lahoud

Hi Everyone,

Here is an interview with the President of the Republic of Lebanon conducted by a CBC Middle East correspondent just hours before an Israeli bomb fell on a residential building in Qana, Lebanon killing dozens of children and infants.

The President addresses a number of issues particularly relevant to the Lebanese people in their conflict with Israel - such as the issue of the Palestinian refugees and maps detailing the location of landmines left by the Israelies after they 'vacated' the South.

Other issues discussed include his relationship with the United States, and the future of Hizballah and his presidency.
