A Hasty Declaration of Victory

On the first day (after the truce) hizbo declared victory. However, since then their fervor has been winding down as the populace and their base in particular got to see the real damage inflicted by Israel. Now they are whispering, as we say in Lebanon: Ba3ed el Sakra ijit el Fakra. Guess they realized it wasn't a real victory after all. This explains why their initial plan for a victory ceremony was scraped.

  1. I am glad that no victory ceremony took place, coz the lebanese people are the losers of this conflict, and the victors are obviously Iran and Syria. I just hate it when other countries use someone else's nation as their battle ground. What a bunch of pussies!!!!!!

I've noticed on the blog a lot of "Uh? What kind of victory" comments and think this article should explain things.

I'm not saying Lebanon won, obviously the destruction and deaths attest to that. I'm saying Israel/US didn't win either.

    It translates into:
After the party (or drunken party), came the thought (sober thoughts)
